The clients had been searching for a new home for a while and had found this property located in a Conservation Area overlooking Holland Park.
The current layout of the house was not suitable for the new owners and they appointed us for the full service.
We re-designed the layout, moving the circulation space to the centre of to the floor plan, so that the main rooms could benefit from the views the extra natural light.
Following Planning Approval the house was completely stripped out. The construction works included new steel work for the central staircase, a new low energy LED lighting system, underfloor heating, insulation to the external walls and roof and new plumbing system with water softener and pressure booster.
A neutral interior scheme highlights the views as well as capitalising on the natural light. With the use of simple timber, glass and grey hues the property has been given a soft minimal look.
Outside the rear and front gardens have been re-planned in collaboration with a landscape designer and gardener to create a low maintenance garden.
