Belgravia apartment refurbishment – Eye candies

Every site visit is a joy now to the Belgravia apartment refurbishment . All the beautiful materials are being installed and every day there is something new to gasp at in admiration. No matter how many times we design and choose materials for a project, every single time we see the drawings become real we get excited like children in a candy shop!

Today we decided with the client the setting out of the Fornasetti tiles for the cloakroom – the Macchine Volanti range depicts all sort of whimsical flying machines and as the client is a great fan of the late.

Then we admired the marble cladding of the guest bathroom, so beautiful: it reminds me of a glacier.

Andy Bendell, my favourite flooring specialist in all London, did a great job creating a threshold pattern for the oak parquet flooring. Even the unfinished staircase looks great!

And what about the Spessorina wall light by Viabizzuno? We positioned two of them upside down at the top edge of the wall to mark the entrance to the master bedroom. Their 22 Carats gold finish produces a warm light that is the closest one can get to a real ray of sun (much needed in a basement in London!).
